Ask remio

  • Users can access the Ask interface by clicking the "Ask" menu item in the remio application.

  • In the [Ask] interface, users can enter questions or prompts using natural language in the input box.

  • After entering the prompt, click the Enter key or the send button, and remio will begin processing the user's input.

remio's Response

  • remio will search user’s personal knowledge base for relevant information based on the user's prompts.

  • While generating an answer, remio will display a "generating" status. Users can pause or re-enter the prompt at this time.

  • Once remio has generated an answer, it will be displayed in the ask interface. The answer may include citations of the user’s personal knowledge base or public knowledge, which will be indicated with numerical superscripts, and different superscript numbers indicate different sources.

  • Users can perform the following actions on remio's answer: 

    • Rem as new note: Save the answer as a note. After saving, users can jump to the note details page.

    • Copy: Copy the answer to the clipboard

    • Like/Dislike: Rate the answer.

    • See consulted sources: View the specific sources cited in the answer.

    • Delete: Delete the answer.


Important Tips

  • remio’s Ask feature primarily provides answers based on the user’s personal knowledge base. remio retrieves relevant content from the notes, web pages, documents, etc. that users have collected and provides relevant answers.

  • Unlike many remote large model dialogue products, remio's chat does not distinguish between sessions. All chat history is on one page, and users can scroll through it.

  • User-entered prompts can be deleted.

  • Users cannot enter new prompts while remio is generating an answer, but they can pause generation and re-enter.


Using "Ask remio about" for conversations

  • Users can initiate a conversation from any window using the global assistant's one-click activation feature. After activating the global assistant, users can type text and then select the "Ask remio about" option.

  • remio will jump to the Ask interface in the current window, and the content typed by the user will be sent as a prompt to start the conversation.

  • The conversation here and the conversation in the main APP share the same session

In summary, remio's "Ask" feature provides users with a convenient way to extract information and get answers from their personal knowledge base and interact with it. Users can ask questions in natural language and further explore their knowledge system based on remio's answers.
